How to merge images?
To combine your pictures into a single image, follow these simple steps:
- Upload the images - Drop or select 2 or more images. You can also paste an image from the clipboard with CTRL+V. The merged image will appear on the canvas.
- Order the images - Use the arrow buttons to change the order of the images, or the delete button to remove an image.
- Choose the merge direction - Merge the images horizontally (side by side), vertically (one below the other) or as a grid (in rows and columns).
- Choose the number of columns - Only when merging the images as a grid. The images fill the grid from left to right, and a new row is started whenever a row is full.
- Choose the alignment - Decide how images with different sizes are aligned.
- Resize the images (optional) - Scale all the images to the same height (or width), so they fit together perfectly.
- Choose the spacing and the background color (optional).
- Download the merged image - Click "Download merged image" to save the result as a PNG file.

Below are the options you can configure when merging images.

When merging vertically, the images can be aligned to the left, center or right. | Resize images | Scale the images so they all have the same height (when merging horizontally) or the same width (when merging vertically or as a grid), keeping the aspect ratio of each image. You can use the smallest or the largest image as the reference, or keep the original sizes. |

How many images can I merge?You can merge as many images as you want. Just upload 2 or more images, and all of them will be combined into a single image.
Are my images uploaded to a server?No. All the processing is done in your browser, so your images never leave your computer.
What happens if the images have different sizes?By default, the images keep their original sizes and are aligned according to the chosen alignment, and the remaining space is filled with the background color. If you prefer all the images to have the same size, use the "Resize images" option to scale them to the same height (when merging horizontally) or to the same width (when merging vertically or as a grid).
How do I create a photo collage or a mosaic?Choose the "Grid" merge direction and the number of columns you want. The images are placed in the grid from left to right, and a new row is started whenever a row is full, so 6 images with 3 columns create a grid with 2 rows and 3 columns. Each column is as wide as its widest image, and each row is as tall as its tallest image. To get cells with the same size, use the "Resize images" option, and add some spacing between the images if you want a border between them.
In which format is the merged image downloaded?The merged image is downloaded as a PNG file, which supports transparency.
